Może pojawić się bez widocznej przyczyny albo być następstwem wielu chorób. W wielu przypadkach staje się źródłem cierpienia i chorobą samą w sobie. Na ból przewlekły może uskarżać się aż 8,5 mln Polaków. Niestety, eksperci alarmują, że u sporego odsetka osób jest on niewłaściwie leczony. - Wynika to po pierwsze z braku odpowiedniej wiedzy lekarzy rodzinnych, a także ze strachu przed stosowaniem silniejszych leków – mówi dr Magdalena Kocot-Kępska.
