Począwszy od roku 2000 Poradniom spełniającym przyjęte standardy PTBB nadaje Certyfikaty. Wydany przez PTBB Certyfikat ma gwarantować wysoki poziom świadczonych usług w zakresie medycyny bólu.

Ważność Certyfikatu ustalono na okres 3 lat, z możliwością przedłużenia jego ważności, po uprzednim przystąpieniu do weryfikacji.

W chwili obecnej Certyfikat posiada 18 Poradni. Spośród nich jedna posiada Certyfikat od roku 2000, trzy kolejne od lat dziesięciu, a kolejnych siedem od ponad pięciu lat.
